Who

Born and raised in the South, Parker has been creating since he was a young child. Having studied foundry and metal working, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the College of Charleston. Making a name for himself in the art scene there for his sculptures and paintings, he later relocated to Sonoma County just over a decade ago.

What

In love with the ocean and all of its abundance, Parker Sullivan creates truly one of a kind works from materials he reclaims himself. It began organically when he picked up his first Old Growth Redwood beam under his arm as he walked up the beach from a Pacific surf session. Piece after piece, table after table, his unique style plays on the true permanence of materials with a propensity towards Bauhaus’ values of function and refinement.

Why

Each work undoubtedly has its own story to tell as they are made almost entirely from materials he reclaims himself. Salvaging old growth driftwood from the Sonoma Coast, harvesting century old steel from Petaluma’s old dairies, and using only the most Environmentally-friendly finishes available, Parker Sullivan is doing what he can in setting the bar higher for Sustainable and Reclaimed works.
